Good fit
This background noise remover is designed for voice recordings with fairly steady noise. Fan and air conditioner hum are useful first checks; low hum or light hiss can work when speech remains clear.
Clean up your recording. Keep your voice.
A short, real preview helps you decide before a full export.
Choose a fileSwitch Original and Processed while listening to the same moment.
Listen for consonants, breaths and metallic or watery artifacts. A quieter background is not always a better voice.

Echo, reverb, clipping, clicks, overlapping speakers, music, dog barking and sudden traffic are different problems. A lower noise floor does not mean every recording becomes clearer. Choose a representative passage or a copy trimmed in another editor when you need to test a specific passage carefully.
Keep the task close to the file and make one fair comparison.
Select a WAV, MP3, AAC M4A, MP4 or MOV from your device. The browser checks the format, size and duration before loading the matching audio or video tools.
Processing starts only after you select Create 30-second preview. Audio and video stay in the browser while the first passage is prepared.
Use the shared Original and Processed position. Listen for consonants, breaths, pauses and artifacts before downloading. For audio longer than 30 seconds, select Process full audio, then download the full WAV.
Use the same playback volume for Original and Processed. Check the beginning and end of sentences, consonants, breaths, quiet pauses and any metallic or watery artifacts. If the voice becomes thinner, keep the original and try a different source or edit.
Use the preview as an editing checkpoint, not as a promise that every track can be repaired.
Check a short section before committing to a longer edit. A quieter background can still be a poor trade if consonants or room detail become thin.
Test a lecture passage with the same microphone position and room tone as the full lesson. Keep the source recording so you can make the final editorial choice.
Phone recordings often contain a steady room or device bed. Use the preview to judge whether the speaker remains natural before saving the result.
A stable computer fan may be a useful test case. Keyboard hits, notifications, music and sudden traffic require a different cleanup workflow.
Choose the right source before a long preparation step.

Answers describe the supported formats and limits.
WAV, MP3 or AAC M4A, up to 25 MiB and 5 minutes. Both limits apply: whichever is reached first. Uncompressed WAV reaches the size limit sooner; a 44.1 kHz stereo WAV fits about 2 minutes 28 seconds. WAV must be 16-bit PCM mono/stereo at 44.1 or 48 kHz; MP3 and AAC M4A are decoded in your browser. Other M4A codecs, including ALAC, are not supported.
Audio downloads as 48 kHz, 16-bit WAV. Compare a 30-second preview first, then process the full recording up to 5 minutes and 25 MiB. Files up to 30 seconds are already complete after the first pass. Video exports stay limited to a 30-second MP4 preview.
Processing happens in your browser. The selected media is not uploaded to a processing server. Ordinary hosting request and performance data may still be received; see the privacy details for the supported formats and limits.
No. The tool is intended for steady fan, air conditioner, room tone, low hum and light hiss. Echo, reverb, clipping, clicks, overlapping speakers, music and sudden traffic are not promised.
Yes. No account or payment is needed. The 30-second preview lets you check the sound before processing the full audio. Video downloads remain 30-second previews.
The layout and controls support touch screens, but browser codec support and available device memory still matter. A real device test is the best check for a long or complex recording.
